TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Gilbert, Arizona, 85297 Pay Information $1,907 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Emergency Room (ER) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour nights with varying start times (3 p.m., 5 p.m., 7 p.m.); includes every other weekend and first to float. Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years in ER/Trauma License: Must be licensed to submit Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS (or ENPC), Moderate conscious sedation competency testing Must-Have: Flexibility with start times and ability to float between specified ER locations Job Description: - The unit has 31 beds. - Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:3-4. - A charge nurse and a unit secretary are available. - Paramedics perform IVs, IV fluids, discharges, and tech duties, while CNAs manage tech duties. - Hospitalist or intensivist presence ranges from 2-6 physicians and 2-4 mid-levels. - An RT and a pharmacy are available 24/7, with an ER pharmacist available five days a week. - The role requires handling MVAs, GSWs, CVAs, MIs, high-risk OB, psych holds, cardioversions, and conscious sedation for closed fractures. - The ER sees an 11% pediatric population. - Common equipment includes GE Lifepack monitors, Puritan Bennett 840, Draeger, Vision Bipap, and V60s. - The charting system utilized is Cerner. - Floor-specific orientation lasts 2-3 days. - The ER requires candidates to work two of three holidays during the holiday season. - Cancellation policy allows the hospital to cancel up to three times per contract. - Navy scrubs are required. - Candidates will participate in a PASS/FAIL Sim Lab on the first day of orientation, and the Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam must be completed 24-48 hours before position acceptance. 26793992EXPPLAT Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS BLS PALS - AHA Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam About Cynet Health Your travel nursing adventure begins here.
