  Job Details
  • Assignment is contingent upon successful completion of EKG testing on first day. EKG training documents will be provided when an offer is made.
  • One Multidisciplinary ICU at Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, AZ. The ICU takes all the patient types of the hospital with the exception of trauma, peds, and OB.
  • 48 beds.
  • Mayo is a comprehensive Cancer center. Sees many Heme/Onc diagnoses, Bone Marrow and Stem cell transplants, CAR-T therapy.
  • Primary Stroke Center-large Neuro/Neurosurgery populations. Works closely with Interventional Radiology.
  • Largest liver transplant center in the country.
  • Lung Transplant anticipated in Oct 2024.
  • Heart, pancreas, and kidney transplants.
  • Advanced Heart Failure Center-LVADs, heart transplants, PA caths.
  • Support for the Unit: Critical Care Medicine and their Advanced Placement Providers are on site 24/7.
    Job Requirements
    • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Arizona required.
    • BLS certification required.
    • ACLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
      Unit Specific Information
      • Travelers will float to PCU and med/surg units within the hospital if needed.
