Employment Type : Full-Time Industry: Construction/Datacenter Project Employment Duration: 3-4 months Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee and manage electrical operations for a mission critical datacenter in Goodyear, Arizona. We are looking to bring someone on for a 3-4 month term (swing shift). The ideal candidate will ensure all electrical work is performed safely, on schedule, and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency and has previous experience working in fast paced datacenter environments. Key Responsibilities: Project Oversight: Lead and supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of all electrical systems on-site, ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, and codes. Team Management: Direct and coordinate electricians, subcontractors, and other personnel to complete project tasks effectively. Safety Compliance: Enforce site safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards. Scheduling: Develop and manage project schedules, identifying and resolving any conflicts or delays. Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track material usage, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality. Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other trade superintendents to coordinate activities and maintain project milestones. Quality Assurance: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure workmanship meets project and industry standards. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of daily progress, change orders, inspections, and other critical project documentation. Qualifications: Minimum [5-10] years of experience in electrical construction, including [2-3] years in a superintendent or supervisory role. Datacenter construction experience High school diploma or GED required; a degree in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management is preferred. Strong understanding of electrical codes, drawings, schematics, and construction methodologies. Excellent leadership and team management abilities. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Proficient in project management software and scheduling tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
