Job Title:Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis DirectorLocation:CityScapeWhat you'll do:As a Director of Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis, you will play a pivotal role in the management and ownership of Western Alliance's monthly Forecast and annual Budget processes. You will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the Bank's consolidated Income Statement and Balance Sheet processes. Some of your key responsibilities include overseeing and consolidating the annual budget and monthly forecast deliverables, owning and improving the WAL's Corporate FP&A tools and processes, periodic (monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc) management reporting, working with Corporate Strategy to support the annual Strategic Planning process, partnering with leadership across the bank and ad-hoc analysis as needed. The successful candidate will have a high level of intellectual curiosity and will proactively identify and implement process improvements and tools across the bank to continuously elevate the consistency and effectiveness of our Finance deliverables. - Responsible for ownership and maintenance of Corporate FP&A annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes.
- Consolidate financial results and projections from finance leaders to understand drivers of financial performance; calculate and predict future income statement, balance sheet, and non-financial line-items; maintain and improve of all of Corporate budget/forecast tools and processes and procedures.
- Drive value through in-depth ad-hoc analysis and clearly present findings, conclusions and recommendations.
- Leverage data and technology resources to both upload and report financial and non-financial information related to forecasting, budgeting and analysis.
- Work closely with Finance Data and Reporting team to identify areas of automation and process improvement
- Build and maintain strong relationships built on trust with executive leadership team.
- Proactively demonstrate high levels of intellectual curiosity as it relates to understanding bank-wide performance drivers and the ability to aggregate disparate pieces of information into a cohesive message.
- Lead as an internal consultant and subject matter expert by establishing oneself as a single point of contact for any finance related matters. What you'll need:
