Girl Scouts-Arizona Cactus-Pine Council (GSACPC) is a non-profit organization that serves 13,000 girls in grades K-12 across central and northern Arizona. We believe Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. With the help of over 8,000 incredible adult volunteers, we provide girls with a sense of belonging and create safe spaces for them to try new things. Our work is girl-centered and mission-focused.Position Summary:--The recruitment team executes a year-long strategy to support the Council's annual membership goal for the recruitment of girls and adult volunteers. Team efforts include being visible in the community through tabling events, marketing directly, and hosting girl programs and informational sessions for adults. The goal of the team is to recruit volunteers to serve as troop leaders and recruit girls to become Girl Scouts by starting at a Girl Scout center, joining a troop, or experiencing Girl Scouts as an Independent Girl Member. This position will coordinate prime locations to host events as well as research events that offer recruitment opportunities. The Member Recruitment Coordinator (MRC) is responsible for initiating contact with potential partners, such as schools to partner on recruitment events and program offerings. This individual must be proficient in providing support to diverse communities within our Council's jurisdiction, including engagement of community members with a preference of Spanish language and communication. Travel throughout the state will be required, with a focus on serving the east valley in Maricopa County. Nights and weekends are required. ----FLSA Status: Regular, full-time, exemptReports to: Recruitment Manager, MembershipTeam: ----Recruitment Team--Essential Functions:--Develops and delivers Council-wide girl and volunteer recruitment events.Collaborates with the Membership Recruitment team to further the goals and objectives of the Girl-Scouts-Arizona Cactus-Pine Council, Inc.Use Girl Scouts - Arizona Cactus-Pine customer relationship management system to support following up on leads throughout the recruitment process.Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with staff, parents, volunteers and the public.--Projects specific targets for membership growth by analyzing data on demographics, membership trends, and minority populations.Recruits a strong volunteer corps, with a focus on Troop Leadership, to serve girls in the community.Fosters a commitment to a team approach to work.Builds support within the community by promoting the visibility for the Girl Scout organization. -- --Serves as a bridge in helping transition alternative delivery programs (GS Impact, Etc.) to volunteer led troops, with specific focus on Spanish-preferred individuals.--Manage and work within an assigned budget.--Perform other duties as assigned.--Requirements:Able to work a variety of hours, including evenings and weekends.Technical ability, skill, and experience with computer input and software.
