Key Responsibilities

Verify and sequence ICD-10 and/or CPT/HCPCS codes from patient medical records for submission
Navigate and research CMS guidelines, including LCD and NCD, while applying coding rules
Review and submit encounters related to evaluation & management, procedures, and denials


Required Qualifications

Active AHIMA or AAPC credential
Three years of relevant coding experience
Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS code sets
Ability to code at a 95% threshold for quality and accuracy
