The opportunityDelaware North Gaming is hiring part-time Slot Machine Attendants to join our team at Southland Casino in West Memphis, Arkansas. As a Slot Machine Attendant, you will work on the gaming floor, contributing to a successful gaming operation by providing maintenance of floor equipment and assisting gaming guests as needed.   • Monitor slot machines, changing and fixing ticket paper as needed
  • Perform adjustments to slot machines, resolving problems such as jams or machine tilts, and performs minor repairs contacting repair technician or supervisor for assistance as needed
  • Record the specifics of malfunctioning machines and documents malfunctions needing repair
  • Patrol assigned areas to ensure that players are following rules, machines are functioning correctly, and assist guestsMore about you
    • Must be 21 years of age
    • No experience or diploma required
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a state gaming license
    • Excellent guest service skills
    • Ability to perform basic math calculations and accurately handle large sums of moneyPhysical requirements
      • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
      • Frequent standing and walking for the entire length of shift
      • Exposure to secondhand smoke and moderate to high noise levels at timesShift detailsEvening shift
