Our team is a collaborative organization consisting of engineers with the highest levels of technical depth, programming skill and a passion for quality. The QA Manager will be responsible for full lifecycle software engineering quality assurance activities including the approval, distribution, implementation and maintenance of documentation for software engineering processes. This position is expected to conduct an oversight of day-to-day testing operations, to accurate planning of test plans, and working alongside the staff in planning and executing accurate testing plans that guarantee the highest possible quality. We're looking for a highly technical engineering manager who has a strong background in software engineering, testing frameworks and automation to drive the overall planning, execution, tracking, and delivery of projects. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Creating test plans, training testers, executing test plans on a regular schedule, rolling up test results, and communicating across the organization - Defining and enforcing ticket standards (e.g., eliminating duplicates and ill-defined tickets, ensuring that ticket details are salient and reproducible, and tickets are attributed to well-defined releases). - Tracking and following urgent or mission-critical bugs through to production release. - Customizing TRAC/JIRA or some other ticketing system to meet the needs of the development and testing teams. - Creation, maintenance, and day-to-day operation of a continuous build and integration system (using Bitten, Tinderbox, or the CI framework of your choice). - Work with product managers and/or external contractors to facilitate usability tests. - Providing feedback to the engineering group on software development practice as shown by testing.Requirement: - B.S.
