Senior Change Manager - Santa Rosa California

ROLE
Under limited direction, leads, develops, and implements employee-focused change management strategies to improve organizational effectiveness. Collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization to drive change management strategies that minimize resistance and maximize employee engagement, ultimately enabling the achievement of business objectives.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Leads and develops scalable and structured change management approach to support the people, process, and function changes as part of the strategic plan.
  • Identifies and engages key stakeholders across all levels of the organization, including senior leadership, department heads, project teams, and end-users.
  • Build strong relationships and communicate effectively to gain buy-in and support for change initiatives. Develops and executes communication plans to keep stakeholders informed about upcoming changes, progress, and milestones.
  • Applies a structured methodology and leads change management activities.
  • Defines change communication approaches in line with our culture and values, enabling us to scale our work and maintain employee engagement.
  • Conducts thorough impact assessments to identify the potential implications of change on people, processes, and technology. Analyze risks and develop mitigation strategies to address resistance and minimize disruption.
  • Design and deliver training programs to equip employees with the knowledge and skills required to adapt to new processes or technologies in partnership with Learning & Development.
  • Assesses the organization's readiness for change by evaluating factors such as culture, capabilities, and readiness to adopt new ways of working. Identifies gaps and develops interventions to build change readiness and resilience.
  • Provides leadership and guidance to project teams and change champions throughout the change process. Empowers and supports change agents to drive change at the grassroots level and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Anticipates and addresses resistance to change by implementing proactive strategies, such as stakeholder engagement, communication, and involvement in decision-making processes. Addresses concerns and objections in a timely and empathetic manner.
  • Defines key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of change management efforts. Monitors progress gathers feedback and evaluates outcomes to identify areas for improvement and course correction.
  • Leads post-implementation reviews and lessons learned sessions to capture insights and best practices for future change initiatives. Drive continuous improvement in change management methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Establishes and maintains change governance structures, processes, and policies to ensure consistency and alignment across change initiatives. Guides and oversees project teams to ensure alignment with change management standards.
  • Creates actionable deliverables for the core: Sponsor Plan, People Manager Plan, Communications Plan, Training Plan, and Plan.
  • 15-20% travel required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS
    Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to qualify is:

    • Six or more years of experience in cross-functional change management, with a proven record of successfully during transformational change management programs to achieve the strategic vision.
    • A solid understanding ofand the change process.
    • Excellent active listening skills.
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships.
    • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
    • Knowledge of change management methodologies (i.e., Prosci) and how to drive adoption and reinforcement.
    • Exceptional stakeholder management abilities, with a demonstrated ability to build rapport, trust, and credibility with diverse stakeholder groups.
    • Strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable change management plans.
    • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams and drive results in a matrixed environment.
    • Experience working with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and familiarity with project management tools and techniques.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Exhibits excellent follow-through to ensure deadlines are met and deliverables meet specifications.
    • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations.
    • Resilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevere.
    • Forward-looking with a holistic approach.
    • Demonstrated self-starter with a proactive approach to deliver on goals.
    • Demonstrated experience in utilizing technology and communication tools to enhance the delivery of information.
    • Proficiently with Microsoft Office and M365, Social Media Platforms, TEAMs, OneDrive, and SharePoint
    • High school diploma or GED required.
    • Bachelor's degree preferred.
    • Valid Driver's License required.
