    Job Responsibilities
    
    
    
    
    • The Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiologic Technologist II (CIRT) is responsible for performing diagnostic, routine and complex interventional cardiac angiographic and cardiac implant procedures.
      
    • The CIRT has responsibility, training and competence with vascular, peripheral vascular, non-vascular, interventional and trauma procedures.
      
    • The technologist is also trained in OR radiographs.
      
    • The CIRT must have a combination of technical, radiologic and clinical skills.
      
    • The CIRT is under the direction of the physician of record during a procedure and reports to the clinical coordinators and Director of Cardiology.
      
      
      Requirements
      
      
      
      
      • Experience: Must have a year recent experience in an interventional lab performing peripheral vascular procedures/intervention and/or interventional radiology and/or interventional cardiology.
        
      • Education: Graduate of an accredited two-year school of x-ray technology.
        
      • Certifications & Licensure: Current CA CRT, ARRT, and CA Fluoroscopy permit required.
        
      • Preferred Experience: Experience in coronary interventions and CPACS preferred.
