<span>OFFICIAL JOB DESCRIPTION:<br>&nbsp;<br>Hyperion Developer:<br>&nbsp;<br>&bull; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Analyze, design, and develop the Hyperion EPM suite, especially with the Close Suite (Financial and Close Management) and Budget and Planning products<br>&bull; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Build Essbase cubes<br>Develop, implement, and maintain new ASO and BSO cubes and process flows<br>&bull; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Design and develop Hyperion reporting solutions and Hyperion Planning solutions and suggest process improvements<br>&bull; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Essbase cube development (ASO / BSO load scripting).<br>&bull; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Provide alternatives and recommendations based on best practices and application functionality<br>&bull; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Understand the business processes, how the application supports the business processes, and apply this knowledge to best solve problems<br>&bull; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Interpret and transform information based on business requirements and provide the data for delivery<br>&bull; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Develop functional specifications and complete object development and testing<br>&bull; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Provide assistance to the business for annual budget and forecast processes<br>&bull; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Employ knowledge of Essbase to facilitate better deployment of Planning, application security, and other interface tools<br>&bull; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Lead user sessions for requirement and testing<br>&bull; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Assist users with problems and resolve issues independently<br>&bull; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Create test plans, test cases and test scripts and perform functional testing<br>&bull; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Create and maintain system documentation<br>&bull; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Provide training and documentation for supported applications<br>&nbsp;<br>Qualifications:<br>&nbsp;<br>&bull; 5+ years&rsquo; experience developing Hyperion EPM, Essbase application required <br>&bull; Experience with Financial Reporting required <br>&bull; Strong knowledge of System 11 Hyperion products, primarily Essbase; experience with Planning, EPM, Financial/Interactive Reporting, Financial Reporting Studio, End user support, and other related components required <br>&bull; Knowledge of Hyperion infrastructure required <br>&bull; Knowledge of Data Warehouses, Data appliances, Data virtualization, Business intelligent tools, workflow integration, and business rule management systems required<br>&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<br></span> More...
