• Flex ScheduleJob DetailsResponsibilities:
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and other entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations and deadlines.
  • Tax Planning: Assist clients in developing tax strategies to optimize their financial position, minimize tax liabilities, and achieve their long-term objectives.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough research on tax laws, regulations, and rulings to provide informed guidance to clients and colleagues on complex tax issues and opportunities.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication, responsiveness, and proactive support, serving as a trusted advisor on all tax-related matters.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other members of the tax team and cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions and exceed client expectations.
  • Professional Development: Stay abreast of industry trends, developments, and best practices through continuous learning and participation in relevant training opportunities, seminars, and professional associations.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Serve as a mentor to junior staff members, providing guidance, feedback, and support to foster their growth and development within the firm.Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax services.
    • Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
    • Proficiency in tax software (e.g., ProSystem fx Tax, CCH Axcess Tax) and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
    • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering accurate and high-quality work under tight deadlines.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
