  Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN ---MedSurg/Tele ---Surgical Acute 3rd floor Shift: Nights / 7p-7:30a, 12x3, 36 hrs per week,--EOW Length:--16 weeksHoliday Requirements Rotate in with core staff Requirements:
  • CA License--
  • 2 Years Experience
  • Must be proficient reading & interpreting tele strips
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NIHSS Other Details:
    • Floating to other MedSurg floors is common. Potential to also float to the ER for ER hold patients.
    • Required to titrate drips
    • # of Beds 37 beds, 12 beds are tele rated
    • Nurse:Patient Ratios 1:4-5. Tele patients are 1:4
    • Common diagnosis / Types of patients Many post-ops; ortho, lap chole, general surgicals. Also have psych patients with sitters on case by case basis.
    • Charting System: Cerner
