  Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a--Travel RN - L&D (Labor and Delivery) Shift:--Nights / 7p-7a, 12x3, 36 hrs/week, EOW Length: 13 weeksRequired to work 2 of the 3 major holidays (which includes the day before, holiday, and day after) Requirements:
  • CA license
  • 2 years of prior experience in L&D
  • Experience needed in the Mother baby/Postpartum units
  • C-section experience required: Yes- scrub, recovery, and circulate experience required for L&D
  • ACLS, AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AFM), BLS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certificate
  • Prefers travel experience Other Details:
    • EMR:--Cerner
    • Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Deliver down to 23 wks, some high risk- Antepartum, HTN , plan to tx out if known cardiac abnormality. Have perinatology support
    • Ratios: 1:1 close to delivery, 1:2 otherwise, 1:4 couplets on postpart
    • # L&D Beds: 10 beds - 2 OR's in L&D
    • Float:--First to Float
    • Floating: PP-no unless NICU background for feeder/grower, L&D to postpartum. Typically don't work interchangably Epic Travel Staffing:
