Description:Job Summary: Executive Director is ultimately responsible for the results of GSSC's business and operations, including, but not limited to the following. Leading operational excellence, driving top-line growth and cultivating strong physician relationships, ensuring clinical quality that drives excellent patient outcomes, leading and developing high performing teams which will enhance shareholder value. The Executive Director will possess foresight for critical thinking, adaptability for changing markets, when it comes to future planning/possibilities, reliability to earn trust, teamwork that involves active listening, posing the right questions and asking for feedback, and often also delegating work to colleagues.The Executive Director will work with the management team to ensure the center meets all regulatory requirements and achieves the goals set forth by the board of directors. The Executive Director will be responsible for strategic plans with the board as well as managing all governance matters such as board meetings. Requirements:Essential Job Functions:Reasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.Directs, coordinates, and supervises the job functions of all Executive and Officer staff of the surgery center.Responsible for the efficient management of the surgery center, including high levels of productivity and cost-effective supply utilization. Assures the surgery center has the necessary resources and equipment so providers and staff can provide quality care to patients. Directs the development of a strategic plan action to achieve the mission and strategic, operational, clinical and financial goals of the Facility. Works closely with the Medical Staff, MEC and Board, develops, implements, monitors, and evaluates the implementation of all clinical and operational policies and procedures, which assure safe and high-quality care is implemented.Responsible for the business aspects of the organization, including but not limited to internal controls, production of financial statements, cash management, external financial audits, procurement and contracts review and authorization. Responsible for annual operating and capital budgets.Develops short term (1-2 year) strategic plans as well as long term (3-5) plans. Plans will include physician recruitment strategies and service line development.Works directly with Chief Medical Executive and Chief Medical Officers in managing physician relations.Responsible for developing payor strategies to include minimum contracting thresholds.Responsible for the negotiating of all payor, physician and vendor contracts.Employs strategic thinking and strategies to grow patient volume. A member of all quality and regulatory committees. Oversees credentialing and re-credentialing processes, following procedures set forth in the medical staff bylaws.Responsible to ensure performance metrics are developed as well as measuring outcome performance. (includes staffing hours, quality and affordability metrics as well as others) Works directly with HR VP to ensure job descriptions are current, salary ranges are competitive to market, staff licenses are current and staffing rosters are adequate or job postings and positions are posted appropriately. Responsible for board sub-committee's (quality, compensation, finance).Works directly with general partners as well as limited partners to ensure that there is open communication. In addition to ensure all requirements are met by both general and limited partners.Other Functions:Enforces Company policies and safety procedures.Regularly updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining professional networks, and participating in professional organizations.Performs other duties as assigned.Education and ExperienceMust possess a BA and preferably an MBA.Minimum of 10 years health care experience including clinical staffing requirements.Minimum 10 years clinical management experience with regulatory requirements and preferably in JCAHO/CMS accreditation surveys.Minimum of 10 years' experience in healthcare pricing, contracting and billing.Compensation details: 200000-250000 Yearly SalaryPI256974ce9915-25660-35588225 More...
