About this team lululemon's Global Brand Creative team is responsible for elevating the brand in a way that drives an inspired understanding of the stories that underpin and uniquely define lululemon. The team develops creative and communications guidelines, frameworks, concepts, and campaign creative that shape how the brand comes to life around the world. Job mandate The Global Brand Studio Planning & Resourcing Manager is responsible for successful financial planning & operations for a diverse team of brand content creators. This role is critical to the successful execution of Global Brand Studio department strategy based on availability of resources, both people and financial. The Manager serves as primary department budget support for the Senior Director, Global Brand Studio & Sample Operations, through short-term spend tracking, as well as long-term strategic planning. This role also oversees all incoming project requests and ensures the appropriate GBS team members are assigned. As a complementary aspect of their resourcing focus, this role manages the SOS (Sample & Operations Support) Program, which pipelines retail employees into key hybrid roles, building the foundation for Global Brand sample management. The Manager holds an expertise with our team's systems and tools, identifying efficiencies, streamlining processes, and supporting a culture of operational excellence. A day in the life: what you'll do Financial Planning --- Partner closely with the Senior Director to manage $16M+ annual operating budget. Oversee operational spend by creative teams (Casting, Styling, etc). Support with development of Annual Operating Plan against Global Brand Studio priorities. --- Negotiate with external studio vendor partners to ensure accurate monthly spend based on shared tracking tools. Own studio vendor invoice processing and tracking based on monthly billing schedule. --- Provide fiscal coaching and direction to GBS team members to foster responsible spending and budget tracking methodologies. --- Support mitigation of budget risks by forecasting and interpreting spend challenges and providing options & impacts to the budget owner. --- Keep team budgeting tools (Smartsheet, Excel) organized and current. Reconcile against monthly transaction reports, provide monthly budget summaries to leaders, and update quarterly Finance forecasts. Resourcing --- Own capacity mapping for the Global Brand Studio team; escalate resourcing and bandwidth risks to team leaders. --- When support for the internal GBS team is needed, secure and manage contingent worker contracts and onboarding, including tech set-up and invoice processing. --- Own project intake by representing the Global Brand Studio team at every brief-in. Flag projects that are not briefed-in properly or not resourced with the necessary GBS partners (Styling, Casting, Samples, etc). --- Provide recommendations to Creative Operations, Digital Brand Experience, and Brand Marketing to determine whether the GBS teams can be resourced into new projects. Monitoring/adjustments in resource allocation to accommodate project scope and timing shifts. Sample & Operations Support Program --- Lead recruitment of new hybrid and contract hires for the SOS (Sample & Operations Support) Program . Schedule candidate interviews with relevant managers and stakeholders. --- Own technology onboarding of new SOS hires by setting up necessary hardware and access to systems/tools. --- Submit bi-weekly Payroll tickets to ensure SOS team members are paid correctly and efficiently. --- Act as the liaison with People & Culture (HR) to ensure timely contract creation, extensions, and compensation changes. --- Own the SOS team roster; keep it up-to-date for multiple team members and manage access to sensitive personnel data. --- Responsible for sourcing, tracking, and reporting monthly SOS team hours and spend to Finance. Qualifications --- 8-12 years of experience in operations with a passion for tackling complex workflows. --- Notable depth of experience in corporate resource management, both people and financial. --- Significant experience with the Microsoft tool suite, particularly Excel. Comfortable exploring and learning similar data management tools, such as Smartsheet. --- Broad knowledge of Coupa, or similar business spend management platforms, is an asset. --- An impressive balance of organization, collaboration, and approachability, with a track record of successful problem solving through critical thinking and operational efficacy. --- Innate ability to juggle evolving priorities while maintaining a positive attitude in the face of changing deliverables & timelines. --- Must be a proactive self-starter who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment, with a strong sense of ownership and personal accountability. Compensation and Benefits Package lululemon's compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $103,500-$135,900 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
