Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Construction Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects at our resort. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing large-scale construction projects, ideally in the hospitality sector. This role will oversee renovations, expansions, and other property enhancements to ensure Estate Yountville maintains its high standards of excellence and meets the evolving needs of our guests. Key Responsibilities - Project Management: Plan, execute, and oversee construction projects from inception to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (hospitality, culinary, events, and management) to ensure projects align with the resort's vision and operational goals.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain the highest quality standards across all construction projects, ensuring work meets luxury hospitality standards.
- Vendor & Contractor Oversight: Source, negotiate, and manage vendors, contractors, and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality requirements.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all construction activities comply with local regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
- Cost Management: Monitor project budgets and expenses to avoid cost overruns, recommending adjustments as needed to stay within financial targets.
- Progress Reporting: Provide regular project updates to leadership, highlighting milestones, challenges, and key decisions.
- Problem Solving: Address unforeseen issues with practical solutions, maintaining project timelines and standards. Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 10+ years in construction management, with a strong background in high-end hospitality or resort projects preferred.
