While primarily concerned with the Santa Monica stages, this role will collaborate with other Sony MoCap stages (San Diego) and supply to global support for the Creative Arts team.You love staying up to date on the latest trends and utilize your technical wizardry to tackle complex problems. Your customer service skills are top-notch, and you thrive in a live production environment, with proven track record of success in high-stress, high-demand systems designed around specific technical workflow.Responsibilities - Serve as technical lead for the Motion Capture Stages, including associated servers, workstations, and the tools involved.
- Act as primary liaison with the Creative Arts Motion Capture team to align IT services with business requirements.
- Regularly assess the technical infrastructure needs of the Motion Capture stages and provide recommendations to enhance performance and stability.
- Work with and administer storage systems for the stage environment, including data availability and security.
- Handle and tune monitoring tools to ensure availability of critical hosts and services.
- Serve as main contact point for all technical stage issues.
- Document system configuration, workflow, network diagrams.
- Available to work varying hours, shoot day schedules, on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Provide coordination with the greater Studio IT team, mentorship, and training for backup of support services.Requirements
