A company is looking for a Clinical Documentation Specialist to perform chart reviews for Medicare patients.



Key Responsibilities

Conduct concurrent and retrospective chart reviews to ensure accurate medical record documentation
Collaborate with physicians to clarify diagnoses and provide education on documentation practices
Ensure the medical record reflects the patient's level of service, severity of illness, and risk of mortality


Required Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse license in Missouri or a compact state
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in an acute care setting
Must reside in Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, or Oklahoma if working remotely
