IntroductionThe Center for AI Safety (CAIS) is a leading research and field-building organization on a mission to reduce societal-scale risks from AI. The successful candidate will take ownership of implementing key technical projects. This role requires someone who thrives in fast-paced settings, can build and adapt quickly, and consistently delivers high-quality, shippable code.You might be a good fit if you:

• Have prior experience building and shipping products, especially in a small startup environment.
• Familiarity working in cloud environments, database systems, Python, and JavaScript.

• Are deeply driven to mitigate AI risk and improve AI safety.
