Job Details - ER (Emergency Room) position available
- A hospital near Sacramento is looking for experienced ER nurses for a travel contract
- The right candidate will have 2 years of experience, have trauma experience
- Hold an active BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH and CA License
Job Requirements - 2 years of experience
- Trauma experience
- Active BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH
- Must hold a CA License
- Level II Trauma experience required
- Level I Trauma experience would be a PLUS!
- Must be able to read and interpret EKG strips
- Experience with the standard ED patients
Schedule Information - 12 hr shifts
- Shift starts at 645
- OT and extra shifts are available
- Self-scheduling is used
- Schedules are out 4 weeks in advance
- Every other weekend requirement
- Rotate in with core staff during holidays
Unit Specific Information - EMR: Cerner
- Scrub Color: Navy
- Vents: Yes
- Hospitalist or Intensivist in house
- IV Team: No
- RT 24/7: Yes
- Pharmacy 24/7: Yes
- Floating: All other Sacramento facilities
- Floor specific orientation: 1 - 2 days with a preceptor
- Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Primary trauma center for the area
