• Primary function involves firmware development, verification, and evaluation of IC devices.
• Provides, presents, and interprets design, application, and service information (local link to an abroad design team, application notes writing).
• Helps the design team in duplicating the customer environment.
• Software has to communicate with hardware (microcontrollers and power devices). YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES
  • Working towards a Bachelors/Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
  • Good general electronic background including: - Analog, Digital, and power electronics (up to a few kW). - Regulators (linear, switching, synchronous, negative, charge pump). - DAC and ADC.
  • Firmware programming experience (Python, C, C++, API).
  • Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with typical lab equipment (oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, waveform generators).
  • Trustworthy and independent worker.
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal, intercultural).
  • Results-oriented with a sense of urgency and priorities. At STMicroelectronics, base salary is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. The base hourly rate range for this role is between $32 and $43 USD.
