TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified NICU RN in Orange, California, 92868 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 2 years in NICU required License: Must have a valid CA nursing license Certifications: BLS, NRP, PALS Must-Have: - Pediatric hospital experience - Experience working with ventilation systems including conventional vents, oscillator vents, bubble CPAP, and NIPPV - Pre/Post-operative surgical experience, handling of tracheostomies, central lines, drips, and small baby care Job Description: - Work three 12-hour night shifts per week, including every other weekend - Use ventilators in 2-3 shifts per week - Manage cases including hyperbilirubinemia, general surgery, neonatal sepsis, and steroid administration - Provide care across Pediatrics, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), or Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) as needed - Use Cerner for documentation - Work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and be the first to float if necessary - Care for infants requiring critical and specialized medical attention - Choose up to 2 of 6 major holiday days off: Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day - First-timers in travel nursing are accepted Additional Notes: - COVID-19 vaccination is required, with medical or religious exemptions available - At least two professional references required, including supervisor-level references from a recent employer or within one year of start 26068861EXPTEMP Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS - AHA BLS - AHA Core Competency PALS - AHA Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing Connect with healthcare professionals nationwide, expanding your professional network.
