Job Title:Financial Reporting ManagerLocation:CA - Westlake VillageWhat you'll do:The Financial Reporting Manager role will be responsible for assisting with the accounting and financial reporting of the Company, with an emphasis on projects and financial system integrations. The Financial Reporting Manager is expected to have robust subject matter expertise and the ability to lead and manage projects and integrations efforts largely autonomously. This position works closely with the Accounting and Finance leadership and other Finance team members to complete projects and will also perform various ad hoc accounting duties and analysis.What we are looking for:

• Work collaboratively with Business Intelligence and Technology teams to lead process improvement initiatives within Accounting department
• Manage configurations for Accounting applications
• Enhance reporting from Oracle to SQL databases
• Maintain Accounting interfaces and troubleshoot any issues
• Develop automated reconciliations for Oracle data feeds
• Ensure all Accounting systems and databases reconcile
• Build Smartview reports/ SQL queries as needed for Accounting team
• Develop, test, and deploy new processes or applications that interface with Accounting applications
• Coordinate planning and resource management for new product implementations or other initiatives requiring upgrades and/or enhancements for Accounting systems
• Prepare and update Desktop procedures
• Assist with future enhancements to GL applications
• Perform other ad hoc duties and special projects as assigned
• Assist with other accounting duties as neededWhat you will need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting. CPA or CPA candidate
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Finance / Accounting role in the financial services industry
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and ability to work with large datasets
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL or Databases
  • Ability to work independently to drive projects to timely completion
  • Highly organized with great attention to detail
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Prior accomplishments in process improvements and system implementations
  • Experience with Intacct, Oracle and/or Smartview
  • CPA or CPA candidate
  • Mortgage Banking experience a plusCompensation: Salary range for new hires is generally $130,400.00 - $153,412.50 for Westlake Village, CA. Salary amount is determined by specific job location.
