That's why we provide educational programs and supportive resources to fuel their growth and scale their success.As the Associate Director, Entrepreneurship & Management Programs at Seed, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the learning journey of entrepreneurs and business leaders across Sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia, and Indonesia. You will be responsible for the overall delivery and continuous improvement of Seed's flagship program, the Seed Transformation Program (STP), ensuring a high-quality learning experience that empowers participants to drive economic growth and innovation in their respective regions. The Associate Director, Entrepreneurship & Management Programs reports to the Director, Entrepreneurship & Management Programs. They will directly manage a team of three people, and work with Seed's regional offices in Ghana, Kenya, India, and Indonesia.This is a full-time hybrid role that requires regular, on-site work in Seed's offices at the Stanford GSB campus, with a minimum of at least two days per week, on average.Your Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Program Operations:
    • Oversee the administration and delivery of Seed programs, including course scheduling, faculty coordination, and logistics with minimal supervision. Manage program timelines, ensuring milestones are met and key deadlines are adhered to.
    • Responsible for analysis, synthesis, and subsequent recommendations from program monitoring surveys and internal feedback.
    • Ensure that the delivery of STP across all regions is on par, and the learner experience is seamless.
    • Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders (communications team, global ops team, GSB Teaching and Learning, etc.) to execute the STP.
    • Act as the point person both internally and externally for all matters regarding the delivery of the STP program.
    • Ensure STP program is compliant within the broader scheme of GSB policies and rules through liaising with various GSB departments.
    • Work with the Seed communications team to deliver all STP orientation, onboarding, and program communications.
    • Monitor the feedback received on STP and put forward strategic recommendations for changes to the program to Director, EMP. Determine and implement operational and delivery changes with minimal supervision.
    • Support Director, EMP (as needed) in working with faculty to update and revise curricula to reflect current trends, research, and industry needs.
    • Lead initiatives for continuous improvement of program delivery, and collaborate with the Director, EMP on initiatives innovating on program structure and improved learner outcomes.
    • Manage staff of three direct reports to assist in EMP programs execution and management. Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to team members to ensure the successful implementation of program initiatives.
    • Determine and execute on training needs for direct staff and internal stakeholders on changes to STP program. Empower team members to take ownership of their projects and initiatives, fostering a sense of accountability and autonomy.To be successful in this position, you will bring:
      • Bachelor's degree and five years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.
      • Demonstrated ability to establish priorities, manage shifting priorities, and handle numerous time-sensitive projects with multiple deadlines.
      • Ability to accomplish goals working through formal and informal channels, with diplomacy and tactfulness.
      • Demonstrated creativity, problem solving, critical analysis, initiative, judgment and, decision-making skills.
      • Demonstrated ability to develop and meet budget goals.
      • Demonstrated solid planning and organizational skills.
      • Demonstrated experience working independently and as part of a team.
      • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
      • Strong relevant subject matter knowledge.
      • Ability to direct the work of others, for jobs requiring supervision.In addition, preferred requirements include:
        • Extensive experience in project management and program operations.
        • Proven track record of building and optimizing efficient processes and managing cross-functional stakeholders.
        • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to oversee and direct staff in cross-functional and international teams.
        • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
        • Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and managing academic systems (e.g., LMS, CRM, Survey software, etc.).
        • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
        • A can-do attitude and growth mindset!
        • Previous experience in international contexts or working with diverse cultural backgrounds is preferred.The expected pay range for this position is $116,849 to $148,275 per year.Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.At Stanford University, base pay represents only one aspect of the comprehensive rewards package.
