If you're passionate about what you could accomplish here, we'd love to hear from you.Job Summary: - -The Senior Flight Safety System Engineer position is to join our Corporate or Research Center Team: Requires knowledge of work area, typically obtained through education combined with experience. May have knowledge of project management.This position is located in Tucson, Arizona.Responsibilities to Anticipate:

• Ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and ensure appropriate action is taken to mitigate issues
• Self-starter and ability to work independently.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• This position is a hybrid role, and the selected applicant will work with the hiring manager to set schedule.Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
  • 5 years' experience with technical engineering background, in the aerospace or government sector or Advanced degree and 3 years of relevant experience.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.Qualifications We Value:
    • Advanced degree
    • 5 years of directly related experience in mechanical and electrical design
    • Specific experience developing electrical sub systems used in flight termination (electronic arm fire devices, flight termination receivers, flight termination controllers, tracking systems, etc.)
    • Experience developing and qualifying flight systems for harsh environments.
    • Working knowledge of RCC319.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
