About the Program: Wing is hosting a 12 week paid internship during the summer of 2025. It will be an in-person, hybrid internship based in Palo Alto, CA with start dates either in May or June. About the Opportunity: Wing is looking for a Backend Software Engineering Intern to join our Delivery Network team based in Palo Alto, CA. The Delivery Network team develops the backend systems at the core of the Wing Drone Delivery Network. These systems manage geospatial data, generate flight paths, communicate with aircraft, and generally coordinate aircraft movements. In this role, you will: As a Delivery Network Software Engineering Intern, you'll join a passionate team building the software that powers our drone delivery service. You'll design, develop, and test solutions that directly impact how we manage our fleet, optimize deliveries, and tackle the real-world challenges of autonomous flight. Collaborate with other engineers to create reliable features and ensure seamless integration with our existing systems, turning a request to move a package into a coordinated drone movement.
