Client Partnership: We have partnered with a highly successful engineering firm that is in search of a Senior Project Manager to join their team to focus on surface and below land development projects.Insight: Our client is 100% Employee Owned and is headquartered in Southern California.Overview: The ideal Senior Project Manager will have broad experience in land development to support the company.Areas of Contribution & Core Responsibilities: Act as the firm's representative in client meetings to define the Scope of Work, prepare fee estimates, conduct site assessments, establish project timelines, and develop and finalize proposals. Drive the profitability of the profit center by overseeing team design, production, quality, training, and employee performance. Engage in regional and company decision-making and growth strategies through regular meetings, promoting company values and providing positive leadership. Hold a PE license and oversee up to two Project Managers while directly supervising up to four non-supervisory staff members. Support business development efforts for potential clients. Oversee the preparation of plans, technical reports, cost estimates, and other deliverables for clients. Monitor project budgets, issue billing instructions and change order requests, prepare invoices, and negotiate and finalize back charges. Other duties as needed.What You'll Bring: Strong leadership and high accountability for operational excellence. Client satisfaction and revenue generating relationships. Contribute to region and company decision making and growth planning. Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, or equivalent discipline. Minimum of 4 years' experience in project management and team management/mentorship. Advanced problem solving, decision-making, communication and team building skills. Experience working with survey mapping, stormwater management, grading, roadways, and similar projects.Compensation: Estimated annual compensation range: $145,000 - $175,000 based on skills and experience.On-site in-office: Los Angeles, CA
