This unique opportunity will allow you to work with a wide range of legal matters, particularly within the realm of estate and trust administration, litigation, probate, and estate law. In this role, you will be responsible for providing legal advice and representation to clients, preparing legal documents, and managing legal transactions. This position will require you to work closely with clients, other attorneys, and court officials, so excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.Responsibilities: - Provide legal advice and representation to clients in matters related to estate and trust administration, litigation, probate, and estate law.
- Prepare and draft legal documents such as wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents.
- Conduct research to support legal proceedings and to formulate a defense or to initiate legal actions.
- Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend clients or to prosecute defendants in civil litigation.
- Negotiate settlements of civil disputes.
- Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
- Confer with colleagues with specialties in appropriate areas of legal issue to establish and verify bases for legal proceedings.
