Salary: $90,000 - 115,000/yearThe Field Engineer / AV Technician will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of commercial AV systems at client sites. This role requires a strong technical background, hands-on experience with AV equipment, and excellent customer service skills. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to troubleshoot issues effectively, and passionate about delivering high-quality AV solutions.Responsibilities

• Installation and Setup:
• Install and configure AV systems, including projectors, screens, audio systems, video conferencing equipment, and control systems.
• Collaborate with clients and project managers to ensure installations meet specifications and quality standards.
• Troubleshooting and Maintenance:
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues with AV systems in a timely manner.
• Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on existing AV equipment.
• Testing and Quality Assurance:
• Conduct thorough testing of systems post-installation to ensure functionality and performance.
• Provide clients with training on system operation and best practices.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and service calls.
• Provide feedback and insights to project managers on project progress and client satisfaction.Requirements
  • Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) certification is required.
  • Proven experience in the installation and maintenance of commercial AV systems.
  • Strong understanding of audio, video, and control system technologies.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and problem-solving AV-related issues.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
