The Role Logitech's Gaming Software team is seeking a dynamic and skilled Gaming SDK Engineer to help shape the future of interactive gaming. This role is central to designing, developing, and optimizing Logitech's Gaming SDKs to empower game developers in creating immersive experiences. You'll collaborate with major game studios and publishers, leveraging Logitech's advanced gaming hardware ecosystem , including RGB lighting, and audio integration, to bring these innovations to life. In addition to SDK development, this role will focus on seamless third-party integrations, ensuring that Logitech's SDKs are compatible with major platforms, engines, and external ecosystems. You'll work directly with high-profile partners, creating solutions that connect Logitech hardware with cutting-edge games and tools. - Lead the development of SDKs for RGB lighting, audio technologies, and third-party tool integrations , powered by Logitech Gaming Software to elevate gaming experiences.
- Be part of a team that prioritizes creativity, collaboration, and innovation in the gaming industry. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform gaming SDKs with a focus on seamless integration with high-profile games and third-party platforms through Logitech Gaming Software.
- Ensure compatibility with major game engines such as Unreal Engine (via plugins) and platforms like frostbite.
- Collaborate closely with game developers to integrate SDK features into games and enable smooth interactions between Logitech's SDKs and third-party tools.
- Actively support external developers by providing technical documentation, sample code, and guidance for integrating Logitech SDKs into third-party systems.
- Serve as a liaison to Epic Games, other major studios, publishers, and tool providers to ensure Logitech SDKs integrate seamlessly across ecosystems.
- Host regular 1-2 week discussions with Logitech's game developer teams to enhance SDK capabilities and resolve integration challenges.
- Travel (30% of the time) to meet with game developers, attend industry events such as GDC, gaming expos, and gaming showcases , represent Logitech's gaming ecosystem, and assist with onsite implementation of the SDK for select partners to facilitate seamless integration and collaboration.
- Act as the face of Logitech SDKs, requiring exceptional social skills, high energy, and the ability to articulate technical solutions to diverse audiences.
- Develop and present training resources for Logitech SDK adoption, implementation, and integration with third-party tools.
- Continuously optimize SDKs for low latency, high responsiveness, and performance across platforms like Windows and macOS. Qualifications:
