- Oversee all company accounting practices, including accounting departments, preparing budgets, financial reports, tax and audit functions.
- Direct financial strategy, planning and forecasts; conferring with CEO, COO and CFO, as well as Board of Directors.
- Supervise the investment and portfolio strategy managed by third-party investment firms.
- Study, analyze and report on trends, opportunities for expansion and projection of future company growth.
- Direct the preparation of all financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, reports to shareholders, tax returns, and reports for government regulatory agencies.
- Oversee accounting operations involving coordination with public agency, cost rates, revenues, and financial analysis.
- Review reports to analyze projections of sales and profit against actual figures and suggest improvements needed.
- Coordinate tax planning processes.
- Monitor and confirm financial condition by conducting audits and providing information to external auditors.
- Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating future legislation, and advising management on needed actions.Qualifications:
