You will protect and promote the interests of both Gilbane and the client in all matters while demonstrating the personal characteristics of a developing leader.ResponsibilitiesAs a Project Engineer III, you will: - Effectively manage the change management process under the direction of the Project Manager
- Serve as a key player in monthly cost report meetings and contribute with meaningful data/talking points
- Successfully adhere to the project controls procedures to include monthly cost control, pay requests, and cost reporting
- Effectively expedite material deliveries
- Accurately estimate and prepare shop drawings
- Continually encourage others to seek opportunities for different and innovative approaches to problems and opportunities
- Develop business by identifying client needs, identifying Gilbane opportunity matches, and communicating the value and differentiation of Gilbane to prospective clients
- Proactively review customer feedback, build a customer-centric mentality within teams, and demonstrate knowledge of different market sectors and delivery systems to ensure positive customer relationsQualificationsEXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
- BS or MS degree in Engineering or Construction Management
- 3 to 5+ years with a construction manager, general contractor organization working on $5-$50 mm construction projects
- Experience with active environments, heavy environments, clean rooms, data centers, mission critical, life sciences, and/or advanced electronics building construction preferred
- Or equivalent combination of education and experienceKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
