We have a great team, and we would love to have you join it!Location: 1267 Meridian Ave, San Jose, CA 95125Website: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our skilled nursing facility team.RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist occupational therapists in evaluating and assessing patients' needs and capabilitiesCollaborate with occupational therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plansProvide hands-on therapy and interventions to patients as part of their treatment planTeach patients new skills and techniques to enhance their independence and daily functioningMonitor patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plansDocument patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately and thoroughlyCollaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patientsQUALIFICATIONS:With Skilled Nursing or Long-Term Care, experience is a plusExperienced Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is preferredCertification as an occupational therapy assistantInterest in working with the geriatric populationKnowledge of occupational therapy principles, techniques, and interventionsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a teamExcellent problem-solving and critical thinking skillsAbility to work with patients of all ages and varying conditionsWHAT WE OFFER: We value our team members and provide a supportive and enriching work environment.
