What You'll Do:

• Assist with the design of the High Voltage Battery production system, including line layout, manufacturing processes and automation, installation, and overall battery production ramp planning for a new manufacturing facility.
  
• Apply expert level knowledge of High Voltage Batteries and manufacturing process to collaborate and influence our multidisciplinary Product Design Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing and Facilities teams in the development of a new High Voltage Battery for an eVTOL aircraft.
  
• Drive the Design for Manufacturability efforts with the product design team.
  
• Determine the requirements for automation, tools, stands, fixtures, etc.
  
• Develop the manufacturing Build Plan (line layout, manufacturing methods, part flow, tools, equipment, precedence network, etc.) and determine an appropriate MBOM.
  
• Conduct process failure mode and analysis (PFMEA) for the Battery production system.
  
• Develop specification for tooling and automation equipment.
  
• Develop efficient manufacturing processes.
  
• Oversee Final Acceptance Testing of manufacturing equipment.
  
• Create/approve work instructions for Battery assembly and installation.
  
• Support first unit builds and testing of the production system.
