  Job Details
  • Providence will be strictly enforcing the policy for NO artificial nails as well as nail length cannot extend more than 2mm beyond the end of the finger. Please make sure you are following this protocol as they will be monitoring this closely.

  • Required skills: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Multi-system organ failure, IV insulin protocols, Chronic/Acute Renal failure, Accessing Ports, Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, PICC line management, Starting IVs, Continuous IV sedation, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, CVA/Acute Stroke management, External ventricular drains (EVD), Hypothermia protocol/Arctic Sun, ICP monitoring, Post Neurosurgery management, Spinal cord injury, Traumatic Brain injury, Assist with management of BiPAP, Assist with management of CPAP, Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal, Care of Ventilated Patient, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of ABGs, Suctioning (ETT, NT), Ventilator Management, Infection Prevention, Isolation Precautions/ Use of PPE, Phlebotomy, Surgical Wounds with drains/Wound Vac
  • Special Equipment: CRRT- Prismaflex or Prismax, IABP- Cardiosave by Getinge/Maquet, Impella- Abiomed, A plus if clinician holds experience with specialized equipment for facility.

    Job Requirements
    • 1 year recent exp in specialty
    • AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, NIH
    • HARDSTOP - needs Neuro experience, looking for 3s-4s in skills checklist
    • Float to less or like specialties where needed and qualified
    • EPIC experience required
    • LA Fire card (must get within 30 days of starting) okay to sub without
