A company is looking for a Remote Medical Coding Specialist, Profee and Facility Neurosurgery.



Key Responsibilities

Assign accurate diagnostic and procedural codes to patient encounters while adhering to coding guidelines
Review medical records and documentation to abstract relevant information for coding purposes
Translate medical terminology and procedures into standardized codes using ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS Level II


Required Qualifications

RHIA, RHIT, CCS or CCS-P credential from AHIMA; or CPC, COC or CIC from AAPC
1 or more years of Profee and Facility Neurosurgery coding experience
