This position will be located at one of our facilities across the nation.The selected candidate will be responsible for research and/or product development in more than one engineering discipline. In this role, the selected candidate will be expected to:
  • Use and/or application of technical principles, theories, and concepts. Demonstrate the skill and ability to perform professional tasks.
  • Develop recommended solutions to technical problems as assigned.
  • Contribute to the completion of assigned technical tasks.
  • Have contact with immediate supervisor, project leaders, and other professionals in the section or group.This requisition may be filled at either an Associate Engineer level (T01) or an Engineer level (T02).Basic Qualifications for an Associate Engineer (T01):
    • Be attending the 2025 BEYA Conference Feb 14 & 15, 2025 in Baltimore, MD.
    • Be completing or has completed their Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
    • Be majoring in or having majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree.
    • This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret or Top Secret Clearance as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).Basic Qualifications for an Engineer (T02):
      • Be attending the 2025 BEYA Conference Feb 14 & 15, 2025 in Baltimore, MD.
      • Be completing or has completed their Master's degree from an accredited institution or is completing their Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and 2 years of engineering experience.
      • Be majoring in or having majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree.
      • This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret or Top Secret Clearance as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).Preferred Qualifications:
        • Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher.
        • Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular).Pay Range:Associate Engineer: $63,500-$81,300Engineer: $75,100-$98,300The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.Northrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
