Position description

UCSF Fresno & Inspire Health - Outpatient Primary Care Internal Medicine Specialist

The UCSF Fresno Medical Education Program and Central California Faculty Medical Group (CCFMG), dba Inspire Health, are recruiting for an Outpatient Primary Care Internal Medicine Specialist. The successful candidate will see patients in outpatient only practice with shared telephone- call, an ambulatory setting in both a teaching and non-teaching environment. Applicants must be board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine. Have excellent clinical skills and be willing to actively participate in medical education. Faculty appointment with UCSF and compensation will be commensurate with the applicant's background and accomplishments. Must be able to obtain a California medical license at the time of hire. UCSF Fresno has undergone an expansion with a new UCSF Medical Education and Research Building and initiated successful faculty practice sites. The program is based in Fresno, California, where residents enjoy a high standard of living combined with a low cost of living. The result is a quality of life uniquely Californian, yet surprisingly affordable. Limitless recreational opportunities and spectacular scenery is all accessible in a community with abundant affordable housing. While there is much to see and do in Fresno, the city is ideally located for fast, convenient getaways to the majestic Sierra (just 90 minutes away) as well as the scenic Central Coast, just two and one-half hours away. Inspire Health provided a reasonable salary estimate for this position $200,000-$250,000.
