• Lots of room for growthJob DetailsJob Details:We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Controller to join our team in the manufacturing industry. This is an incredible opportunity for a seasoned financial professional with a strong background in financial management, accounting, budgeting, QuickBooks, inventory management and overall business operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company's financial and accounting functions, including regulatory compliance, financial reporting, budgeting, and financial planning.Responsibilities:1. Oversee all company accounting practices, including accounting departments, preparing budgets, financial reports, tax and audit functions.2. Direct financial strategy, planning and forecasts; conferring with CEO, CFO and other executive management team members.3. Supervise the investment and raising of funds to support the business.4. Study, analyze and report on trends, opportunities for expansion and projection of future company growth.5. Monitor and confirm financial condition by conducting audits and providing information to external auditors.6. Control and evaluate the organization's fundraising plans and capital structure.7. Ensure compliance with the law and company's policies.8. Manage team of financial controllers and financial analysts.9. Handle all aspects of inventory management, including tracking and valuation.10. Utilize QuickBooks for financial management and reporting.Qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (MBA preferred).2. Professional accounting designation (CA, CMA, CPA).3. 5+ years of experience in a senior financial managerial position in the manufacturing industry.4. Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in QuickBooks and other financial planning software.5. Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting and cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.7. Strong leadership qualities and a team-focused mentality.8. Proven experience in financial analysis and forecasting.9. Proficient understanding of business law and corporate governance.10. Strong working knowledge of financial regulations and legislation.11. Exceptional time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.12.
