California Water ServiceJob Description:The Water Quality Department can provide an excellent educational opportunity to a student intern. The successful candidate will take a lead role in the planning, execution, and reporting of the 2024 lead and copper sampling. This position can be located in Salinas, CA or San Jose, CA.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Collaborate with both internal/external stakeholders across multiple departments
• Able to perform administrative tasks, status reporting, attending meetings, and note-taking
• Updates department documentation including flow charts, summaries and guidelinesMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • The successful candidate must be working toward a Bachelor's degree in science or engineering.
  • Strong communication, planning, and spreadsheet skills are requirements.
  • Good academic standing
  • Proficiency in the of MS Office Suite
  • Comfortable with technology and ability to learn new programs
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 16 hours per week with a consistent weekly schedule during the quarter/semester throughout the internship
