As the Operating Room Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of patient care, safety, and efficiency in our surgical services. You will lead a passionate team of nurses and surgical staff, drive operational excellence, and enhance the overall surgical experience for patients and families. Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of nursing staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations of the operating room, ensuring compliance with safety standards, policies, and procedures while optimizing workflow and resource management.
• Quality & Safety: Implement and monitor quality assurance programs, focusing on patient safety, infection control, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Collaboration: Work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure seamless patient care and efficient surgical scheduling.
• Education & Training: Facilitate ongoing education and training for staff, ensuring they remain current with best practices, technologies, and surgical techniques.
• Budget Management: Assist in the development and management of the operating room budget, identifying opportunities for cost savings while maintaining high-quality care.Required Qualifications:
  
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Active California Registered Nurse License upon hire
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire
  • Experience Managing People and Budgets
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive Nursing Management Experience, including roles such as Charge Nurse or Nursing Supervisor in an acute care settingWhy Join Us?
