Come work with a team of engineering professionals dedicated to excellence at Coffman Engineers' Downtown Los Angeles office.We are seeking a Fire Protection Engineer with 0 - 3 years of experience to support our Fire Protection Engineering Department in providing our clients with automatic suppression system design; fire detection, alarm and mass notification system design; code analysis; egress analysis; fire resistant construction analysis; smoke control analysis; as well as general fire protection and life safety concepts and research. The ideal candidate should have a desire to work and grow as a team player within our Fire Protection department.Compensation and Benefits: - Approximate Base Salary - $70,000 - $90,000 annually
- Paid overtime at 1.0 times hourly rate
- Competitive end of year discretionary bonus based on company/team/personal performance

- Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from accredited college or university in Fire Protection Engineering, Fire Sciences, or related engineering field
- Minimum zero years and up to three years of experience in the fire protection engineering/consulting profession.
- Strong written and verbal communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:
- Must have passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam. Individuals who are in the process of taking the exam within the next six months may be considered.
- Experience with the current version of AutoCAD and Revit
