FULL CHARGE BOOKEEPER

About the Job

Local Sacramento CPA firm is seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper for a full time permanent position. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 3 years experience in a public accounting firm. Candidate will handle multiple small business client needs and must be able to work independently. Responsibilities will include maintaining monthly books, payroll processing and sales tax filings while complying with federal, state and local requirements.



PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Working Hours: M-F 8 AM to 5 PM

Daily: All aspects of accounting and bookkeeping.

ANALYSIS ? To update handwritten work papers for balance sheet and P&L accounts

Ability to run reports in Quick Books

Financial statement preparation

Journal Entries

Sales tax

Payroll processing and payroll tax preparation

Corporate and Partnership tax preparation

1099/W2 preparation

Business Property Tax Statements

Business License Renewals

Workers Comp Audits

Preparation of Payroll Checks and Liabilities

Time and Billing

Ability to work to deadlines

10 Key - Typing 40-50 WPM

Candidate must have excellent communication skills
