Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Pediatric Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day, 3x12-Hour (Variable start times; 07:00 - 19:00 or 11:00 - 23:00) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: 2 years of CVOR experience with a minimum of 1 year in Pediatrics License: California RN license required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - American Heart Association (AHA) Must-Have: Experience with scrubbing and circulating hearts Job Description: - Work in a renowned children's hospital with a high standard of care. - Be adaptable with variable shift times; flexibility in start times based on department needs. - Provide trauma coverage with an on-call requirement of four calls per four-week schedule. - Deliver care during weekends or holidays based on department needs. - Possibilities for 1st time travelers with strong experience; must have a California RN license. - Float within the hospital and to satellite locations as required. - Participate in mandatory orientation with the necessity to complete modules before starting, which are non-billable. - The flu vaccine is required, with no exemptions. - Required to work 2 out of 3 major holidays. - All requested time off must be submitted upfront, capped at six days. - Modules must be completed before start date with an estimation of 6-8 hours for completion.
