A company is looking for a Cyber Defense Analyst to join their cybersecurity team.



Key Responsibilities

Analyze network and host activity related to intrusions by advanced attackers
Perform network traffic analysis and support enterprise incident response efforts
Research emerging cyber threats and contribute to threat intelligence reports


Required Qualifications

BS Degree and 1-2 years relevant experience in cyber security or network defense; or 1-3 years relevant experience with certifications (CISSP, SANS GIAC, CEH, etc.)
Experience in network/host-based intrusion analysis, digital forensics, or malware analysis
Experience with log data analysis from multiple sources including PCAP and forensic artifacts
Proficiency with Microsoft Windows administrative tools and Unix/Linux command line
