Well known company looking to hire a Office Assistant that has worked within an education setting, preferably at the University Level. High School or Elementary level is okay.
JOB DUTIES: You will be responsible for scanning documents and storing files on the computer. Performs routine clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and answering phones. Distributes mail, compiles records, runs errands, and writes & answers correspondence using word-processing. Also will involve entering data from an Excel spreadsheet into computer system. Operates a data entry device to enter, correct, or update lists, records, statistics or other data into a computer.
REQUIREMENTS: Minimum High School Diploma. Degree is a PLUS! Minimum 1 year working in a school/education setting. Knowledge of MAC/PC, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Strong telephone etiquette, communications and organizational skills. Team player with exceptional interpersonal skills. Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
