  • New Psychiatry Residency, with inaugural class coming this yearRequirements:
    • Board certified or Board eligible in a Psychiatry field
    • Experience with underserved, low-income persons, or homeless persons preferred
    • Ability to work effectively with patients from diverse social, cultural and economic groups
    • Current American Heart Association healthcare provider CPR (BLS), or Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, or Advance Resuscitation Training.
    • DEA license
    • Graduate from an accredited school of medicine; completion of a 3-year residency in Psychiatry OR current status as a 3rd year resident in a Psychiatry program
    • Completion of a 2-year Child and Adolescent OR current status of fellowship
    • Must possess current unrestricted license to practice in the State of California
    • Second language fluency in Spanish is preferredFHCSD was founded by community activists working towards a common goal: caring, affordable, high-quality medical care for all.
