If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are on the lookout for a Contract-to-hire Accountant (Expense) to join our dynamic finance team. This role will be instrumental in shaping the financial health and future of our organization. The Consulting Accountant will be responsible for providing financial analysis, cost accounting, financial auditing, budgeting, and financial accounting, among other tasks. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of the financial industry and a proven track record in similar roles.Responsibilities:1. Analyzing financial data and preparing reports to assist in decision-making processes.2. Managing and maintaining the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.3. Conducting financial audits to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.4. Preparing and analyzing balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other financial documents.5. Managing accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely payments and collections.6. Conducting cost accounting and budgeting tasks to help optimize company resources.7. Providing tax accounting services to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws.8. Collaborating with other departments to improve financial processes and provide financial insights.9. Assisting in the preparation of financial forecasts and projections.10. Ensuring financial reporting is accurate, timely, and in line with company and industry standards.Qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is a plus.2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a consulting role.3. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis techniques.5. Excellent understanding of tax accounting, cost accounting, and financial auditing.6. Proven experience in managing general ledger, accounts receivable, and payable.7. Exceptional skills in preparing balance sheets, budgeting, and cash flow management.8. Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.10.
