GoFormz is a San Diego-based startup leading the Mobile Data Capture industry. We build and maintain a SaaS platform that empowers businesses to replace paper forms with web and mobile-based digital forms that provide ubiquitous access to the collected data. We are currently looking for an energetic Senior Software Engineer to add to our growing team.As an Azure AI Engineer, you will collaborate closely with a cross-functional team of engineers and technical product managers to enhance our platform with AI-powered features, transforming how our customers engage with our services. In this role, you will develop and integrate Azure AI services into our existing applications, making a tangible impact on the customer experience. You will be a key contributor to production code, and the solutions you build will become an integral part of the daily lives of thousands of our customers.Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, deploy, and support Azure AI software components.
• Monitor, maintain, and optimize AI applications for performance and scalability.
• Integrate AI capabilities into applications, leveraging Azure AI Services.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to align AI solutions with organizational goals.
• Stay up to date on AI trends and ethical considerations, such as data privacy and mitigating bias in AI systems.
• Develop and maintain microservice APIs using C# and .Net.
• Develop and maintain our front-end React application.
• Develop and maintain our cross-platform MAUI mobile apps.
• Participate in weekly releases.
• Mentor junior software developers by advocating for best practices.
• Meet weekly with the team to discuss ongoing projects.
• Extend and document changes to existing subsystems as needed.Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with SQL or other relational databases.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure AI services (Search, Vision, Speech, and Docs).
  • Familiarity with the latest trends in AI and machine learning.
  • Experience with large language models (LLMs) and vector databases.
  • Knowledge of data governance, security, and AI compliance standards in Azure.
  • Experience with microservice architecture.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Expertise in building secure, scalable, enterprise systems.
  • Strong communication skills for explaining AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Nice to haves...
    • Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, or Azure Synapse Analytics.
    • Experience with Azure Functions, Service Bus, or Event Hubs.
    • Experience with NoSQL Databases like MongoDB and Cosmos.
    • Experience with Dapper or other microORM.
    • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or Container Apps.
    • Experience with Azure Application Insights.

      • Compensation: $140,000 - $200,000 annually DOE.
